The visual aspect of the Dynamic Image Gallery are controlled from 3 pages: The easiest and safest way to customize the Dynamic Image Gallery is to open the mainPage.htm in preview mode, and then open the Style.css in a design more in your FrontPage. Now take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with the different objects in Styles.css, and then modify the values, save, and preview the mainPage.htm to see the results. This is recommended, and is the safest way to go. You may also modify the mainPage.htm it self. The Dynamic Image Gallery is completely separates the PHP code (that is saved in ImageGallery.php) and the HTML pages mainPage.htm or the thumbsPage.htm. Therefore, you can freely modify the mainPage.htm and thumbsPage.htm long as you do not rename or remove any of the HTML elements or the Java script that are on those pages. NOTE: HTML Element and names in the mainPage.htm and the thumbsPage.htm are require for proper operation of the Dynamic Image Gallery. DO NOT REMOVE OR RENAME THOSE ELEMENTS! You can add description for each folder simply by saving a file name "description.html" (all lower case) inside the folder. The description should be plane text or HTML and will be shown above the large image. |
